I started my own studio in 2008 after working and learning from some of the most talented advertising professionals in town. I want to help clients find creative ways to communicate their message.

I have more than 10 years of experience in marketing and advertising and have worked with clients of all sizes. At Wingard Creative I am Creative Director, Art Director, Print Producer, Copywriter, and Entertainment Director. In fact, all of us here do a little bit of everything. Creativity is a collaborative effort.

In my free time I enjoy watching cartoons with my kids, riding bicycles, and trying to dream up the next big invention worthy of its own infomercial.

I joined Wingard to help grow the business from a boutique creative and web development studio to a fully capable marketing machine. We haven’t lost the cool of the design studio, we just do more of it.

I am a small business owner and a serial entrepreneur. I am also an outdoorsman, a pilot, a husband and a father to two little consumers, though not in that order. As a partner in Wingard Creative, I manage the business of the business–-keeping the financials in order and the business on track.

I’m a baker, crafter, illustrator and lover of all things cute & cuddly. I’m also the one that makes your business cards beautiful. :) I graduated from Flagler in 2008, but what I may lack in experience, I make up for with creativity and cupcakes. :) I also TOTALLY overuse emoticons. :)

I’ve recently gotten into blogging and I LOVE it. I follow a ton of design blogs and am inspired by them daily. I also like random fun ones like: bakerella.com, postsecret.blogspot.com & streetstyl.es. I’m a hybrid. My nerdy side loves standards-based HTML and CSS, web comics, and reading at the dinner table. My creative side loves beautiful typefaces, vintage signs, and brainstorming in my sketchpad. Mixing good design with organized information helps me create user-focused, accessible websites that look swell to boot. Beyond the web, I love to bring my right and left brain together in every project I tackle.

Growing up just outside Detroit, my dad taught me that there’s always a way to find solutions. Whether it’s researching on the web, polling friends on Twitter and Facebook, or just asking the right questions, I love getting to the bottom of a problem. I even found a solution to the cold Michigan winters – I moved to Florida!

I have lived in Jacksonville for over 20 years and am yet another graduate of Flagler College. In my time there, I won two ADDYs for promotional packaging and was among the top ten in the AIGA Jacksonville Student portfolio review. Starting at Wingard Creative as an intern and moving up to Graphic Designer, I have learned a wealth of knowledge from my fellow designers.

I have passion for all things design, keeping active as a social chair in the local chapter of the AIGA. I love being a part of a community, that continually inspires me.

I arrived in Jacksonville seven years ago by way of Flagler College. Prior to joining Wingard Creative, I spent six years as Art Director at Burdette Ketchum, working on projects ranging from branding to environmental graphics and from consumer to business-to-business. I’ve created work for clients including Downtown Vision, HabiJax and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

When I’m not designing, I’m baking French macaron cookies for Bruton’s Macarons, a passion project turned side-business.

Hello Jacksonville! I am a transplant from Gainesville, Florida here to keep Wingard Creative organized as they continue to grow! As project manger I’ll be able to to answer all of your design and printing questions and ensure that your project is handled by the right team members so that you can deliver the best results. I’m a double-hitter: with a background in creative advertising and design coupled with experience in project strategy and management, I sit at the crossroads between thoughtful design and successful business.

I’m excited to be back on the East coast and plan to spend my free time on the water, watching football and hanging out with my husband and our two furry, four-legged children (don’t worry, that means cat and dog).
